A lot of my friends back home ask me about how remote year is going and it is tough to describe because I feel like I am drinking from a fire hose of experiences and places. I am quickly realizing that the places and experiences pale in comparison to the people that I am with who make them absolutely unforgettable. Never in my life have I ever felt so alive and accepted by the people around me. I am blown away at how intelligent, unique, compassionate, funny and badass everyone is. Down-to-earth financier, Warren Buffet, recommends you surround yourself with and emulate people smarter and better than yourself to achieve success. Everyday I feel so lucky to be with a group of people that pushes me to be the best I can be in life. Every person on this trip sold almost everything they owned and took a huge risk in exchange for a new way of life. I think the huge entrance barriers of giving up your comfort zone and diving into the unknown are why I am so lucky to be surrounded by such great people.
